Phil Beeton was my co manager of Ely Crusaders for 6 years and started the u6's along with me. Even when he stood down as my co manager he was still attending games and helping run the line or putting up or taking down nets.

Phil was tragically killed in a road traffic accident on the A10 recently, we would like to offer our condolences as a club to his friends and family.
